N95 Respirator – Donning and Doffing.
Please watch this short video on how to put on and off a N95 respirator. There will be differences between different masks though. Please verify with your lab on the proper way of using the respirator, fit check, and disposal after use (sometimes you will have to reuse the mask as it is limited resource by putting into a Zipbloc bag or plastic container). You will also need to be fit-tested to ensure that the respirator model fits your unique face. During fit testing, please ensure that men are clean shaven, and the ladies should neatly tie up their hair. This video is produced by SGH Infection Control.
